On a lovely October morning, on Friday the 4th, a group of dedicated tutors, parents and learners, together with visitors, enjoyed an exciting Entrepreneurs Day.
The Bethlehem Tutor Centre in Môrelig was buzzing with activity from early in the morning. Lots of interesting stalls were erected and the horse-riding group arrived. A group of boys even set up a car wash, which was well supported by the owners of dirty vehicles…
Visitors enjoyed the horse rides, made available for free by the ”Stap & Drink Geselskap.” There was a variety of eats available – samoosas, spring rolls, hot dogs, sweets, different fudges, cakes and puddings, coffee, soft drinks and the always popular “slap chips.”
Millenium Fire presented a demonstration of how to extinguish a fire the correct way. Tutor Malcolm and the visitors also had lots of fun with the tug-of-war (toutrek).
This event served as a fundraiser and awareness opportunity for the Tutor Centre and the Autism Lighthouse, as well as for the overseas participation in an international sports event of Eugenie-May Botha. The Tutor Centre thanks every person involved, as well as all the visitors and contributors.
